Cotton Candy Words.

She was like the new sunshine that lit up my grey life
She brought me back from the graveyard where I'd wandered for awhile
And in my days that had been so rainy, sun now shone
And I was covered in soft cotton candy words

How I wished that I could've seen
I never saw that she was an apple
Red like the reddest blood on the shell
But black and toxic on the inside

Red apples tastes so sweet
And fills your heart with black ink
That you end up spilling over your finest paper
Like an extravagant discease

Don't ever ask why
I guess it's just my luck to find you here
Now like I did then
But you haven't changed one bit have you?

And yet again you cover me in cotton candy words
And I put up a mask with a smile as grim and fake
As you deserve
Because I can see now and I see right trough you

And I can see what you've done
And your words are like cotton candy red apples
Filled with the blackest ink
I saw it...

And you really haven't changed one bit, have you?
Yeah, nothing much to say about it.
